Jawai National Park

Types of Safaris Available

Jeep Leopard Safari

Set out in a 4x4 across Jawai’s rocky hills, where leopards are often spotted lounging on granite outcrops or moving gracefully through the terrain. This thrilling safari is the highlight of Jawai, offering close and reliable encounters with the big cats.

Village Safari

Experience rural Rajasthan up close as you explore traditional Rabari settlements. This safari takes you beyond wildlife, into the heart of the region’s culture, lifestyle, and centuries-old harmony with nature.

Birdwatching Safari

The Jawai Dam and surrounding wetlands are a paradise for bird lovers, home to flamingos, cranes, eagles, and over 100 other species. A birding safari here is serene, scenic, and full of surprises.

Best Time
to Visit

  • Winter (October – February): Pleasant weather and excellent for leopard sightings

  • Summer (March – June): Hotter but offers higher chances of spotting wildlife near water sources.

  • Monsoon (July – September): The park remains closed during this period.

Safari Zones

Jawai does not have fixed zones like traditional national parks. Safaris are conducted across leopard-rich rocky hills, grasslands, and the Jawai Dam region, offering diverse landscapes and wildlife encounters.
